Semantics

Honestly, I’m still a little confused about the difference between therian and otherkin myself. For the purpose of this website, though, I’ll be using the general consensus from sites like Reddit and Tumblr: therian is identifying as an earthly animal, and otherkin is identifying as a non-earthly animal or object that’s typically mythical or otherworldly.

Introduction

Welcome to the nonhuman portion of my website! Here, I’ll be getting a little wild and wacky and fun with the content and style of what I post! I am using this website to express myself, after all~!!

I am polytherian and polykin! That means I have multiple otherkin identities as well as multiple theriotypes or “’types”.

Gear

As of right now, I unfortunately don’t own any gear.

“Gear” (in reference to otherkin, therian, or other nonhuman users) is a term to refer to certain accessories otherkin creatures will use to alleviate dysphoria and feel closer to who and what they really are! I’d really like to make my own gear, but I have yet to do the necessary research and practice for that, so I might just buy it instead. We’ll see!

As you may have gathered, I feel very connected to and passionate about my nonhuman identities and experiences. As I want to express more of this and get into the headspace for fun, I’ve created portals to subsections of the nonhuman portion of my site to embrace certain ’types!
